Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2025


Welcome to Plus 1 ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our platform, including any services, features, and content offered through www.plus1football.com and / or the Plus 1 mobile application (together referred to hereinafter the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement"). If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the Platform.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you are under the age of 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform.


2. Registration and Account

To access certain features of the Platform, you may need to register and create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username and password.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account, whether or not authorised by you.


3. Honour Code

You agree to use the Platform in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and refrain from:

  • Engaging in any unlawful, harmful, or disruptive activities, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, or impersonation.
  • Uploading or sharing content that is defamatory, offensive, pornographic, discriminatory, or otherwise violates the rights of others.
  • Interfering with the proper functioning of the Platform or attempting to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or systems.
  • Using any automated means, including bots or scrapers, to access, collect, or analyse data from the Platform.
  • Maintain only one user account, and not allow another person to use my login details;
  • Treat all employees of Plus 1, and all fellow users with dignity and respect;
  • Not abuse or otherwise interfere with any member of the Plus 1 community in any manner that contributes to disrupting their work or the creation of an intimidating, hostile, or demeaning environment for participants in general;


4. Event Participation

The Platform allow users to organise, participate in, or register for events (e.g., football matches). By registering for or participating in an event, you agree to:

  • Comply with all event-specific rules, guidelines, and safety protocols.
  • If you are the event organiser, you are responsible for managing the event, including ensuring all participants are aware of the event's terms and conditions.
  • You acknowledge that participation in certain events may involve inherent risks (e.g., injury in physical activities). By participating, you do so at your own risk.


5. Payment and Fees

Some features of the Platform, including event registrations, may require payment. When making a payment, you agree to the following:

  • All payments are processed through third-party payment providers and are subject to their terms and conditions.
  • You will provide accurate and complete payment information and are responsible for any applicable fees, taxes, or charges.
  • All transactions are final, and no refunds will be issued except as required by law or in accordance with specific event or service policies.


6. User-Generated Content

You may be able to upload or share content through the Platform, such as event photos, videos, or comments. You retain ownership of your content, but by submitting it to the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Platform.

You agree not to upload or share content that:

  • Violates the rights of any third party, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Contains harmful, offensive, or illegal material.

We reserve the right to remove or modify any content that violates these terms or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.


7. Privacy and Data Collection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices outlined in the Privacy Policy.


8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Platform at our discretion if you violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in any activity that we deem harmful to the Platform or its users.

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the account settings.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease, and any obligations or liabilities accrued prior to termination will remain in effect.


9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as-is" and "as available." We do not make any representations or warranties regarding the functionality, accuracy, or availability of the Platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and merchantability. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.


10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Plus 1, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms and Conditions, or your violation of any rights of a third party.


11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Plus 1 or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any content from the Platform without our express permission.


12. Amendments

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time, and the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Effective Date." It is your responsibility to review this Agreement regularly. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.


13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the State of Qatar.


14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.


15. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the Platform.
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement does not waive our right to enforce that provision in the future.
